Bristol Point Camping Area


A large camping ground close to a beautiful white sand beach on Jervis Bay. It is close to the Green Patch camping ground, and has larger camping sites suitable for larger groups of up to 35 people.

Indigenous History

The area is home to the Jerrinja. The name for the national park comes from the Jerrinja word bouderee, which means large fishing ground, plentiful bay. The park is jointly managed by the Wreck Bay Aboriginal Community and Parks Australia.


The campsite has showers, flush toilets and a BBQ area with picnic tables.

Getting There

Access is by road. Turnoff the Princes Highway south of Nowra to Jervis Bay. You need to pay a park entrance fee at the visitor centre. Follow the road to Jervis Bay. The turnoff to Bristol Point is signposted.
