Tucked away a short bus ride from Chatswood is the Lane Cove River Tourist Park, located in the Lane Cove National Park in the suburbs of Northern Sydney. It is probably the closest you’ll get to camping in the bush close to Sydney. The park offers a variety of accommodation options, including camping and caravan sites (powered and unpowered), as well as cabins.

Getting There

Bus 545 stops at the corner of Plassey Road and Delhi Road. See for the bus timetable.

You can also drive to the campsite - turn off Delhi Road onto Plassey Road. The campsite is on the right towards the end of the road.
