Upper Colo Reserve


Upper Colo Reserve is a beautiful and nice place to camp and relax along the Colo River. The river is very clean and offers shallow water for children to swim. The reserve is run by Hawkesbury City Council who restrict access by locking the gates at night. There is plenty of wide open area with a cricket pitch in the middle. There is shaded areas around the perimeter of the reserve.

Getting There

Hulbert Road, Upper Colo NSW 2756.
From Windsor, cross over Windsor Bridge and head north out through Wilberforce along Wilberforce Rd. The road then becomes Singleton/Putty Rd. After coming down the steep hill into Colo turn left just before Colo Bridge and turn left again into Upper Colo Rd heading away from Colo Bridge. After approximately 12km turn right onto Colo Heights Rd pasing over the old wooden bridge (Colo River) then turn left at the Communications Tower into Hulbert Rd then veer left at the "Y" intersection to enter the Upper Colo Reserve. Sections of Upper Colo Rd and all of Hulbert Rd are unsealed.
