Balls Head Reserve is a patch of natural bushland close to Waverton, with walking tracks and picnic areas with views of the Harbour Bridge and the city.

The park has several walking tracks of varying length, from 10 minutes to 40 minutes.
Picnic and BBQ
The park has BBQs and picnic tables, with small picnic areas with views of the city. Parking is available.
Getting There
Train
Alight at Waverton station on the northern line. The park is 10 minutes walk along Balls Head Rd from the station
Car
Turn off the Pacific Highway onto Bay Road or Crows Nest Road and follow it to Balls Head Rd. Follow Balls Head Rd to the reserve.
Other Notes
The Aboriginal name for Balls Head is Yerroulbine. There are several middens, art sites and rock engravings in the park.
